A Few Good Fingers

A Few Good Fingers

See the difference?
See the difference?

Okay, so I have a few good fingers left and took some pictures of my beautiful thumb that is on my left hand for the first picture.  My whole hand (both of them) used to be pretty. It’s also as smooth as butter and I have no clue why.  I hope though that this is a reminder of what my skin will look and feel like once again after this mess is done and over with.

In the picture you can see where the TSW ends…at the line of demarcation. There are other parts of my body like this too.  This is one strange condition.

I have also made the decision to start making videos about my journey as well. I really didn’t want to at first but we need more sufferers to do so, so I am going to make it happen!

When the TSW hit my hands hard it was incredibly painful.  Even now it is not easy to use my hands without them hurting me.  I normally wear latex free rubber gloves on them all day and take them off at night.  My husband has also pitched in for me with doing the dishes more often than usual, which helps a lot and my daughter decided she was going to step in to help me more as well.  I need all of the help I can get.  I am telling you, the pain I have had to endure these last 6 months (going into my 7th) has been no joke! ONLY fellow sufferers know what I mean.

Trying to do my daughter’s hair even became a chore and as the TSW spread and progressed on my hands I had to take her to the hairdresser to get her hair done and her Grandmother has been helping out with her hair as well. Thank goodness!

Here are some more hand pictures for you to take a look at as well.

I am just so amazed at how the body deals with getting rid of toxins but with this mess…..no wonder why it takes so long to heal.
